He is truly the sweetest, happiest, most sensitive boy who will be the most amazing best friend to whoever is lucky enough to snap him up. He went into foster for a few days with our lovely volunteer, Monica, so we could find out more about him and he behaviour out in the big, wide world.

He came back with the most glowing report, he was amazing with her dog and reallt started to come out of his shell more and more as the week went on. We think Woodys bad luck with potential adopters has been because he is quite shy and apprehensive when you first meet him; he’s not a dog who will come bounding over to you straight away, he just needs a bit of time to get to know you. Once you’re in his circle of trust, he is truly the most loving, gentle, kind, funny dog EVER.

He can live with any dog, has been cat tested and passed with flying colours, and can live with kids as long as they give him a bit of time and space to decompress after going home.

Woodstock is so criminally underrated it’s actually baffling to us here, if you take him home and make the effort to settle him in and show him that the world really isn’t so scary, you will have scored yourself a truly amazing, one of a kind dog!
