This is Ringo, an absolutely delightful young bull lurcher who recently joined the family!

Ringo came to us a stray from the pound, so like most lurchers that we rescue, not much is known about his start in life. What we do know about Ringo is that he is an absolute sweetheart, and one of the most gorgeous, affectionate dogs you can meet. Ringo has been off site plenty of times, alone and with his lurcher buddy Bertie, and he makes a fabulous Sun Valley mascot. He can be a bit shy and unsure to start when out and about, but with a bit of encouragement he’s been getting braver with every walk, even going into busy town centres and lapping up any attention he can get.

He LOVES other dogs and could easily live with another resident dog. We also think Ringo would be a brilliant family pet, he’s a classic ‘nanny’ bull lurcher with nothing but love to give. He would thrive in an active, fun home, with people who are willing to give Ringo the fuss, attention and enrichment that a young lurcher needs. Ringo is food motivated, and definitely eager to please so if you want a dog you can train and do fun activities with, Ringo could be a fab contender. Ringo has been nothing but an absolute dream to look after, and he is already VERY much loved here at Sun Valley.

Bull lurchers are a fantastic, loving, smart and affectionate breed and really do make a very special family pet. If you have the time to train and enrich a dog like Ringo, and space on your sofa for the best cuddles ever, do get in touch!
