Meet Princess Peaches; a stunning, sweet but very timid little girl who just joined the Sun Valley family.

Peaches came to us incredibly nervous and shy, you could not touch her or get near her for a couple of days. She would hide in her back run and sleep on the hard floor – so we really needed to show her the good life and that the best days of her life start now! Once Peaches had some time to decompress, we introduced her to a male greyhound. She changed INSTANTLY, running around with her new boyfriend, playing and wagging her tail for the first time. Because of how much confidence her new mate gave her, we feel that Peaches must live with another confident, calm dog that can show her the ropes. Breed, age and gender don’t really matter – just as long as she has a buddy by her side. 

Peaches is starting to blossom into the sweetest little girl, she’s improving every day and is starting to slowly but surely come out of her shell. She’s even handed out a few kisses to lucky members of staff! Timid dogs are always the most rewarding – once you break through the nervous exterior and start to build trust, the bond you can create with your shy dog can be unbelievable. We think Peaches would do best in a calm, relaxed home with people who have the time and desire to work on a little nervous girl and take things at her pace. 

She really is improving every day and is so, so endearing and sweet. In the right home she will absolutely flourish and turn into the cheeky little lady we know is hiding in there somewhere. Peaches has stolen our hearts already and we cannot wait to find her her very own sofa in a calm, nurturing home.
