This is Pablo, a stunning blue beauty who is looking for his forever home! 

Pablo has shared his kennel with another female greyhound and shared his space wonderfully with her. He loved to race around in the field with her, and then cuddle up in their kennel together. He can definitely live with a female hound, but we are happy to introduce your dog to Pablo here at the kennels a few times if you do have a resident dog and are interested in him. He has been on off site adventures and is a total gent. 

Pablo may do best with older, dog savvy kids rather than young children. He is the most gorgeous, affectionate man around but we’ve found that he doesn’t like us putting his harness or coat on, especially in his kennel. We think it’s an issue with people looming over him, and he will tell you when he’s uncomfortable. He has never snapped or bitten, but we just don’t want to potentially home Pablo with a young child who obviously doesn’t understand boundaries yet. We’re working on getting him used to being handled here, and he is much better in the yard with getting his coat and harness on rather than in his kennel where he feels a bit surrounded. 

Please, if you’re a dog savvy hound lover, don’t let this put you off Pablo. There are so many ways to work around this little quirk of his and with a bit of commitment and reading body language he will become desensitised. This issue is such a TINY part of Pablo’s personality. Pablo truly is a funny, goofy little gentleman and will make the most GORGEOUS companion in the right hands.
