Meet Louie! Now this strikingly handsome man has quite the tale to tell you all. After being discovered as a stray, it took 2.5 months to catch this boy. Louie was in survival mode and for this reason he is quite timid around new people. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining the SV family in October 2023, and everyday grows in confidence. He’s extremely snuggly round bed time, and loves a belly rub.

We feel he would best suit a quiet home with no children. Ideally someone who works from home and can commit to being there for him and bringing him out of his shell.

Due to what Louie went through whilst stray, he could never be a dog who can go off lead, however, he does enjoy a run in a secure field and has impeccable lead manners. He regularly goes offsite with one of our volunteers and is unfazed by everything.

Louie finds himself most at home around other dogs, and so we would happily consider a resident dog for Louie to be homed with.
