Brody is an absolutely stunning young man who came to join the family in April 2024.

He came in extremely timid and nervous, and does take some time to come around to all of the new people that he’s met during his stay here. He’s quite shy and scared when he’s in his kennel, but once you get him into our field he’s a different dog; running around, cuddling up to the dog walkers, taking treats and generally being a care free lad!

We think Brody would do best in a calm, quiet home with few people in the house coming and going. He needs time to open up and gain confidence, so he needs someone who knows how to handle a shy boy and won’t push him to do things before he’s ready. Once he builds his confidence and bond with his new owner, we think he’ll be the most loyal and affectionate dog, he just needs time.

Brody is kennelled on his own, and was never kennelled with another dog while he was racing. We don’t currently know how he’ll fare with other dogs, and we need time for him to settle in before we test him. For now, we’re saying that Brody might be best as an only dog. 

Brody really is an endearing and gentle character, and with the right people he will blossom into a fantastic companion.
