Meet Missy; a scrumptious older lady who recently joined the family!

Missy is a gentle, laid back lady who could not be easier to look after. She shares her kennel with another male greyhound and is a total flirt with him, she loves to share her space with him and plays amazingly with him in the field too. She’s even been on a social sighthound walk during her short stay here and was a perfect lady, she really is such a laid back character and would make the perfect, easy companion. Missy is your stereotypical lazy greyhound that just wants a sofa to lounge on and a family to adore. She can live with kids, other dogs, young families, retired couples…you name it! She really is just a gorgeous, easy dog who is totally ready to go home and start her new life. 

Missy has such a chilled out way about her so if you’re looking for a dog that you can take to the beach, coffee shops, pubs etc Missy could be a great girl to consider as we do think she’d do well in most environments, she loves fuss and attention too so we reckon she’ll be a total hit at your local!

Missy came to us at 7 years old which is a few years older than the usual age that greyhounds that retire and then come to us looking for a home (around 2 – 4 years old). This means that she’s had to wait an 3-4 extra years to find her new family and forever home, so we don’t want to waste any more time and we want this gorgeous little girl to finally enjoy retirement, kick back and relax.
