Meet Jake; a gorgeous little man who has clearly had a terrible start to life, but is now ready to leave his past behind him and enjoy his second chance at life.
Jake came to us in an absolutely awful state. He was emaciated and covered in cuts and pressure sores. This is a dog who has never been shown care or kindness before. These days are behind him now, and everyone at SV is now working together to help Jake recover and get him ready to start his new, happy life. Jake has a long road to recovery ahead of him, so we will not be showing him for any appointments right now. We just wanted to shine a spotlight on this special dog, and also show the reality of rescue and what some of these dogs that come in to our care have gone through to get here.
