Walter is our newest bundle of joy that recently joined the Sun Valley gang! He’s a young bull lurcher who was found as a stray, so like most of the lurchers that come through our doors, we don’t know too much about his start in life. Walter is one of the most affectionate dogs we’ve ever had, he loves to climb right on top of you and give you the best cuddles ever, he would be glued to you if he could! Walter shares his kennel with another male bull lurcher. They absolutely love to race around our yard and field together, and would spend the whole day outside goofing around if they could. We haven’t introduced him to other dogs yet, so if you already have a dog in the home we’ll need to do a few introductions with Walter and your dog to make sure everything is good with them before adoption day. Walter has bundles of energy and likes to have a dog he can rough and tumble with. If you have a dog, they’ll need to enjoy rough play.

We’d home Walter to a home with children, but they’ll need to be confident and happy with having a dog that will be all over them to give them cuddles and kisses. He really is SO loving!
