Meet Trudy; the sweetest, maddest and goofiest girl around! 

Every now and again we open our doors to a greyhound who complete breaks the mould of what ‘google’ tells you a greyhound is. In this case it is Trudy. WOW where do we even start with this girl? 

We truly don’t think there has been a more loving nor energetic greyhound to come through our doors. They say good things come in small packages and this is the epitome of Trudy. Despite her small size she is absolutely bursting with character. You will never laugh as much as you will in the company of Trudy for 10 minutes, she is utterly hilarious. 

Anyone who knows and loves Trudy would never use the term mellow and Trudy together in a sentence, but we assure you this girl will truly mellow out in her forever home over time. She’s only a baby, not even 2 years old, so she needs to get herself into a home with someone that can spend their time properly enriching and entertaining our little lady. Every day is the best day ever with Trudy, and nothing gets our sweet girl down. She is currently kennelled alone and copes perfectly well in her own company, with lots of toys and treats to enjoy. She shares the yard and field with another male greyhound, and they truly do adore eachother! 

Trudy could live with older children, but she is high energy and mad as a box of frogs so the kids will need to be confident with dogs. Young greyhounds, and greyhounds that haven’t really raced aren’t your typical couch potato greys. She will be puppy like until she’s around 3 years old so whoever takes her home will need to want a dog with oodles of energy, and will be happy to put in the work to train and enrich her. 

Being that she is a bit of a crazy little lady, she’d do best in a home as an only dog, or with another older, confident male who will be patient with her, and will also teach her manners as she navigates her new life. Even though we’re mentioning her craziness a lot, she truly is so loveable, friendly, cute and eager to be loved. She’ll turn into an absolute dream family dog in the right hands. She’ll need to go to someone who is experienced with dogs, as she’s not your typical lazy grey.
