Meet our gorgeous Sherman. Sweet Sherman is Sun Valley’s newest addition, joining the SV family in December 2024.

 Despite his short time with us, Sherman’s goofy character has flourished having us all in laughing at his antics. Shermy shares his kennel beautifully with Inca and is especailly enjoying all the treats he now gets.

Our Shermy is a perfect dog to consider if you are a first time dog owner or a young family. He is a gentle soul, with a lovely confident nature. As with all of our retired greyhounds, Sherman has never experienced a life outside of kennels. His family will be his first everything, and so his beautifully confident nature will help with this transition.

Sherman is an affectionate boy, who craves love and attention. He could happily stand there for hours being groomed and fussed over. As a result of his affectionate nature, we feel Sherman would thrive as an only dog for the time being, getting the 1-1 he so desperately craves from humans. He deserves to be someone’s world and would much prefer this to being part of a pack.
