Meet our lovely Sailor; an absolute beauty and adorable character that just joined the gang! 

Sailor is simply STUNNING, a big blue and white strapping girl with one of the loveliest personalities around. Sailor is always in a great mood, loves people, adores fuss, and absolutely fawns over her kennel boyfriend. She shares her kennel with Santi like a dream, they play amazingly together and really respect each others’ space. We are confident that Sailor can live with another hound, but she’s not quite been here long enough for us to assess her in the big wide world with other breeds. Purely judging from her sweet and playful nature, we feel sure that Sailor can live with other dogs. If you have a resident hound and are interested in Sailor, we’ll do a couple of meetings here at Sun Valley to make sure they’re good buddies before adoption day. 

Sailor can live with children, but they’ll have to be dog savvy and confident as she is a MASSIVE girl, and she’s very openly affectionate. If your children are dog lovers and would be happy to share their home with a big charming goof-ball, Sailor would be a fabulous dog to consider. Sailor is dog that’s up for adventures, and we think she would really enjoy pub / coffee shop visits, and would totally lap up any attention she can get. 

Sailor did retire from racing with an injury – we don’t think it will cause her any issues in the future and will be happy to discuss this further in person.
