This is Nero, our newest adorable, loveable lurcher who just joined the family.

Nero came to us straight from the pound, so we don’t know anything about his start in life. He is still covered in soft winter fur which suggests to us that he’s been kept outside and hasn’t yet had the pleasure of experiencing life on his very own sofa. What we do know is that Nero can now leave the past behind him, and start looking forward to his wonderful new life ahead of him! He’s not been with us long but he has already totally stolen our hearts here at Sun Valley. Nero is an absolute softy with a heart of gold, he eats well and loves his treats; we’re hoping that his food motivation will make him a dream to train! He would do well as a family pet, and really would lap up the attention of children. He would be a fantastic dog to take out on adventures, holidays and trips out to the pub or coffee shop. He has been off site and was a superstar. He has met another male lurcher during his stay here, and really took an immediate shine to him. Because of this, we would consider homes with a pre existing dog/s. 

Nero is a young lurcher, with a long life ahead of him and a joy for life. Whoever takes Nero home will have to have the time and energy to sufficiently exercise and enrich him. He would do well with a young couple, young families etc who want a young, lively hound to muck about with. We really don’t have enough kind things to say about Nero, we really are besotted with him already, and whoever takes him home will have struck gold.
