Meet Genie; a gentle, kind, easy going and utterly gorgeous senior lady who is looking for a sofa to call her own. 

Genie came to us from the pound as an old, shut down girl who has clearly had a hard life. As soon as she came to Sun Valley, she got into the groove of the kennels like a dream, and really just appreciated finally having her own comfortable bed. Genie likes to chill out, she’s probably been a working dog for the first 10 years of her life and now just wants to unwind. She LOVES her kennel, and really does enjoy nothing more than a good nap in a warm bed. Genie isn’t bothered by other dogs, and could definitely live with another calm dog, but would be perfectly happy as an only dog, free to relax in her own safe home in peace. If you want an active dog that you can walk for hours and go hiking with, Genie isn’t the one for you. She’s pretty lazy, loves to sleep, and is happy with a couple chilled out mooches a day. If you’re after an easy going companion that you can snuggle on the sofa with, Genie is a fantastic dog to consider.

Genie is loving, friendly, and great with people, but we think she’d prefer a calmer home without a lot of noise or active kids running around so they don’t disturb her beauty sleep. If you have a nice, chilled out and cosy home with a sofa to spare and you’re just after the companionship of a beautiful dog, Genie would be fab to consider. 

Genie will be an easy, loving and rewarding girl to take home. She so deserves to live out her senior years finally in the comfort of her own home surrounded by people who adore her.
