Meet Flossie; a fun loving, ultra affectionate little girl who has recently joined the family!

Flossie absolutely ADORES people. She will jump into your arms and give you the best cuddle you’ve ever had! She’s definitely more of a people dog than a dog’s dog. She does currently live with another male, but really seems to value her own space. We think she’d love to be an only dog, lapping up all of the affection for herself, but she could potentially live with another calm, confident hound. 

Flossie has been on off site walks, and can be quite over interested in small dogs. Because of this, you’ll need to be sighthound experienced if you want to take her home. She is no different from any greyhound with a prey drive, but that can be a little overwhelming for a new owner. With ongoing exposure and consistent care from her new family, Flossie will be perfectly manageable on walks, the big world is just brand new to her at the moment! If you’re interested in Floss, it might be worth taking her for a walk off site before adoption just to confirm everyone is comfortable and able to safely walk her if she were to react to another dog.

Other than her sharpness with dogs, she’s a truly, truly amazing girl with so much love to give. We’d happily home her to a family with children, as we know she would absolutely love and adore them! 

She’s more than ready to find her forever home, and whoever takes her home will be utterly smothered in love!
