This is Dave; a gentle, stunning and calm lad who joined the family in September of 2022. 

Dave has not put a paw wrong since joining CCGT, he truly is a gentle giant, who would make the most fabulous addition to any family. We’d home him to calm couples, fun families, a single person in need of a companion… Dave can do it all. 

Dave has been off site a few times, from forests to the beach, and was absolutely perfect! He lovingly greets all strangers and dogs, and takes everything in his stride. He’s currently kennelled on his own as he seems to enjoy the bachelor life, but judging by how fab he’s been while on walks, we think he may be able to live with another calm dog. 

He shares a yard with our nervous boy Paz, and he really takes all of Paz’s quirks (and mood swings) in his stride! He’s shown himself to be a truly gorgeous, laid back lad. 

Dave could be a lovely hound for someone out there looking to get their first dog. He was a bit freaked out by the waves when he went to the beach, but with a quick bit of encouragement and a kiss on the forehead, he was ready to take on the day. He may need a bit of help with his confidence as he discovers the outside world with you, but in time, he’ll be truly perfect.
