Meet Blitz, an absolute firecracker of a dog who the whole team of staff and volunteers have come to ADORE in the very short amount of time he’s been here. Blitz has SO much love to give, with enough personality for 5 dogs inside of him! 

He’s a real character. He’s so much fun, so full of life, and will be an absolute hoot of a companion for the lucky person who takes him home.

He is a big boy, and because of his big personality, we think young kids and Blitz may not be the best combination as there’s a chance they’ll get knocked over. Also, if you’re not confident around big dogs, Blitz may not be the best match as he’s quite full on with all the love he wants to give you! There’s not a bad bone in the boys body, he’s so eager to love and be loved. Be prepared to be kissed and cuddled within an inch of your life.

Someone who is confident with big dogs, and is prepared for a boy who will want to greet and be adored by everyone he meets (and is willing to teach him boundaries, not everyone is going to be comfortable around such a big energetic boy) will be perfect for Blitz. He’s just the best lad, and has been an absolute dream during his stay with us.

He can be an only dog, but also lives with a nervous girl called Vera, and he’s fab with her. We’d happily home him to someone who already has dogs.
